Tuesday - Venice
Early wake up and breakfast:
#tired. I woke up a bit too early. I felt so tired. The we went down for breakfast. #SooooGooood. We had to eat quite quick, then we got on the bus. #StartOfLongJourney. Barnaby Thompson
St Mark's Square:
The square was the biggest and widest place I had ever seen. #pretty #soooobig.The towering pillars and golden lions created a posh atmosphere. Connor Fitzgerald.
St Mark's Cathedral:
Once we got to the centre of Venice we saw St Mark's Cathedral dominating all of the other landmarks. I wasn't surprised that there was a long queue as it was such a big landmark. However, the long wait was worth the amazing views. The golden mosaics covered most of the ceiling. It was amazing. Henry Rust
Glass Blowing:
It was amazing! It was also weird to see how quick he was at making the horse. It was in such good detail. #Amazed. Billy Delargy
Shopping and 'The Market':
We did a lot of shopping. #spendaholics. They tried to sell us a fake Louis Vuitton bag and fake football shirts. Zack Fitzpatrick
4 Horses & The Golden Altar Piece:
The four horses were inside the cathedral and they were made of bronze and the golden alter is St Mark's grave stone. Luca Francis.
Evening Prayers:
We came down for our prayers at 10 pm in the dining room. We thanked God for what we did today and for our safe travels. Finn Scott.
We come down at 10 pm for our prayers, which takes about 15 minutes, then we go to bed. Matteo Howell
