After a morning of packing and chilling in the village and a final, yummy lunch in the hotel, we waved goodbye to a hot and sunny Molveno just after 1.30pm on Saturday.
Although we had some slow trafic in Italy caused by roadworks, we made excellent time thanks to our expert drivers Colin and Les and arrived in rainy Calais at about 6.30 am. The ferry crossing was smooth and it was good to stretch our legs after so many hours on a coach. Once in the UK we said our sad farewells to Colin and Les and our relief driver got us to Ealing (via Twickenham) for about 1.30.
Although the holiday is over, watch this space for more info on the 'Italian Projects', the 'Photo Competition' as well as links to photos and videos from Molveno.
I look forward to seeing all the boys and girls in school tomorrow morning as usual!!!
